SUMMARY:Climate Change & Ocean - Red Sea Egypt - 2015
DESCRIPTION:In 2015 we were in a week long Deep-South diving safari at Red Sea. Biodiversity of sea creatures is the best in this region. We examined the condition of coral reefs and seawater at various dive locations until 30 meters. We sampled at for example: Rocky Island\, Saab Claude cave\, Zabargad\, Habili Ali. We sampled seawater and determined their temperature\, pH and redox potential. We also determined the coral reef’s types and bleaching conditions. \nOur main results:  \n\n\n\nunitil 10 meters were the branching corals\, under 10 meters the soft\, plate and boulder corals\nbetween 0-5 meters most of the corals were in a not so good condition\, more of them were bleached and rare abundance\nunder 10 meters corals had normal color and abundance\nseawater’s pH value were a little bit acidic (cause by global warming)\n\n\n\n
